著名的山頭 (Famous Peaks)

此區域位於大高加索山脈 (Greater Caucasus) 中西段，涵蓋歐洲最高峰厄爾布魯士及其周邊山谷，東至卡巴爾達-巴爾卡爾共和國首府納爾奇克 (Nalchik)： * 厄爾布魯士山 (Mount Elbrus, 5,642m)：歐洲最高峰，為死火山，擁有雙峰，西峰 (5,642m) 略高於東峰 (5,621m)。山頂常年積雪，是「七頂峰」挑戰之一。 * 烏希巴峰 (Ushba, 4,710m)：外型陡峻如同一對尖齒，有「高加索的馬特洪峰」之稱，是技術性極高的攀岩路線。 * 沙赫達格峰 (Shkhelda, 4,320m)：位於普里艾爾布魯士 (Prielbrusye) 地區，與厄爾布魯士相鄰，有多條冰川路線。
